| Arcade (1988): 1-2 players (alternating) Controls: Button 1: Attack(double punch, kick, spinning kick; and it repeats from there) Button 2: High jump (covers more in movement) Up: Low jump (useful for smaller gaps) Down: Crouch/move elevator 2, 1: High jump kick Up, 1: Low jump kick Down, 1: Low kick As a note about the 3 regular attacks, the game just remembers where you are with those, so if you finished an enemy off with the regular kick, the next time you hit the attack button, your character will spin kick. If your character can stand still long enough, he'll perform a motion that will then surround him in a pink aura. It then becomes yellow, and blue, if you can repeat it. I'm not sure if it leads to anything powerful or not, but it does protect him from 1 hit per aura level. The aforementioned smaller gaps are usually filled with spikes, and set up with more than one, with enough distance so that if you try to jump over the first with the high jump, you'll usually end up landing in the 2nd. The game has sub-bosses, the music changes when they show up and the enemy "power" meter fills up like a bosses would, who will pursue you if you try to get away. Like your characters power meter, you need to deplete theirs. When you reach the end, no matter which version of the game you use, the text before boss battles is in kanji. As for boss battles(first one pictured above, you play as the guy in red), the best advice I can give is to try to use your high jump to land behind them, hopefully as they're attacking in front, and hit and run like this. It has a very Kung Fu Master vibe to it, as it seems to take place in the enemies base(and has a single plane and multiple 1 hit enemies, with some tougher ones spread throughout), however it goes further and further underground, instead of high and higher into a temple. | |

| also, we could mention here, that the game was under a big Anime influence in this period : Dragonball, in the era before Sayajins, in a time when Son Goku used to use the "Kaio-ken" & "Kamehameha" powers. & in fact, there is many striking points : the hero is obviously looking like Son Goku, Even, it wears the dress of Kame Sen'nin (Muten Roshi) apprentices, the motorbikes in the intro & ending, have the look of the "Capsule Corporation" products, sure thing, you can do "Kamehameha" !!! just look at the screenshot, it smells Dragonball, you can use the "Kaio-ken" power in-game, ( Red > Yellow > Blue) - Brawl wrote:

here the answer about your question, Brawl, about our power under the "Kaio-ken" effect : & the answer is yes. - INSTRUCTIONS:
- Holding down the Attack button charges up your power and allows you to shoot an energy ball.
- When you stand still for a period of time, an aura appears around your body, which increases your attack and defense power. Your aura has three phases and can be upgraded from red to yellow and then to blue: -- Red Aura : Increases attack power by 25%. Disappears when hit. -- Yellow Aura : Increases attack power by 50%. Downgrades to red when hit. -- Blue Aura : Increases attack power by 75%. Downgrades to yellow when hit.
- Pay close attention to your energy level as well as the energy level of attacking enemies.
- The game ends when you run out of energy or the last boss is destroyed.
- There are a total of five different levels and a powerful leader to eliminate at the end of each level. When you destroy a leader, you will be awarded bonus points and extra power, and you will advance to the next level.

| That must be more noticeable against bosses, as most enemies take few hits, if more than 1. Unfortunately, you're not likely to have the time to charge up during a boss battle. | |
