NES, Commodore 64, & DOS(1987[DOS being the original], published by Mindscape for the PC's, and Mattel for the NES)
1-2 players(taking turns)

There's nothing else to add(I'm pretty sure the PC versions control similarly), though skimming over the guide I'm not sure if it tells you that you need to jump to collect items, which have wings, which include hearts for health restoration. Oh, and before each stage you can practice the moves before you press Start, but the guide does mention it.
