(Arcade; Capcom; 1987):
1-2 players
Controls:
Button 1: Punch
Button 2: Kick
The punch has shorter range than the kick, so you'll most likely want to depend on the kick. Both buttons simultaneously will perform a slow moving spinning kick. If you come across a door, you can break it down and enter to play a mini-game. Sometimes during the course of the mini-games, which usually involve beating enemies(one is more of whack-a-mole type), you'll gain weapons. Either button will use a melee weapon, but only Button 1 will use ranged weapons. The weapons will only come with you if walk back out before the mini-game times out, but otherwise, they'll be in use the next time you enter a mini-game. If you lose a life, the weapons are gone, but even when you have them they're limited. You can smash objects around each stage to find power-ups, and possibly weapons. The boss you confront at the end of each stage is the only enemy character to display a health bar.
There's really not much more to say about this one, it's very simple, being about 2 years before Final Fight. Oh, and it's a top down view game, which makes connecting your melee attacks that much trickier.
