Arcade (1985, published by Taito)
1-2 players(alternating on the same joystick/buttons)

[Seibu Kaihatsu] Knuckle Joe Kncljo10

controls:
button 1 - punch/use weapon
button 2 - kick
1 & 2 - guard
Up - jump(usually to an upper level)
Up, 1 - jumping punch
Up, 2 - jumping kick
Down - crouch/drop down a level/pick up weapon
Down, 1 - low punch
Down, 2 - low kick

There's a power-up that you need to jump to reach that makes Joe invincible, and even faster, for a few seconds. There's an enemy counter in the upper right corner, which shows how many you need to defeat to move on. There are 2 ways to determine how you're doing on health: A "power" meter, and the color of Joe's pants. They're turning purple as he's closer to defeat.

All things considered, it's actually a fairly fun game, despite the classic difficulty level(no continues).
