[Taito] Arabian Magic

Arcade (1992)
1-4 players(configurable in MAME by playing with the dip switch settings, by pressing F2. Defaults on 2 player, and no matter what you choose here, you can freely select your character.)

Characters:
Rassid, Lisa, Sinbad(pictured below, in yellow clothes), & Afshaal(you can easily see what each character supposedly excels at, however Rassid only seems faster than Sinbad, and Afshaal is surprisingly quick, in spite of what the character sheet says about him, on top of being the supposedly most durable, and most likely 2nd strongest.)



Controls:
Button 1: Attack
Hold 1: Guard
Button 2: Jump
2, 1: Jump attack
Forward/Up/Down & 2, 1: Alternate jump attack
Button 3: Magic(may need to press 1 to utilize, as this summons a genie most of the time. Also, requires a lamp. Seems random, no matter how many you have.)
Walk into enemies: Grab
Grab, 1/Up & 1/Down & 1: Grab strike(Rassid and Lisa only. Sinbad and Afshaal only throw)
Grab, away/forward & 1: Throw
Forward, forward: Dash attack(Lisa and Afshaal only. This can be done from a grab to ensure it connects)

Character quirks:
Rassid has 3 different combo finishers. I'm not sure if they're manually controlled at all.
Sinbads guard charges. When his blade turns white, let go of button 1 for a powered up attack.
Lisa's regular attack has medium range.

Your character can collect objects by walking into them. Most are for points, but some say "power up" and usually add a temporary elemental effect to your attack. Some bosses become a new genie spell your character can use. Stage 3 is a magic carpet ride. Bosses have a health bar(shown above).

Despite how little I had to say about it, it actually is one of Taito's better offerings for the genre.
